Folding Cinematic

SKYFALL my concept.

The concept centred on a stroller descending gently from the sky, a visual metaphor built around the product's headline feature: folding down small enough to fit in an aircraft overhead locker.

As Creative Strategist, I defined the project's vision from inception, crafting the initial client deck, developing multiple creative territories and leading the pitch that secured approval for SKYFALL. I translated business objectives into compelling creative opportunities, aligning stakeholders around a clear strategic direction while balancing creative ambition with client expectations. Throughout production, I managed feedback cycles, guided key creative decisions and ensured the Unreal Engine pipeline remained focused on delivering the original vision at the highest standard.

SILVER CROSS came to us with a clear ambition: AAA-grade visuals to launch their new foldable stroller range. The brief called for something that felt less like a product demo and more like a statement.

The creative challenge was to translate a mechanical feature, the fold, into a piece of abstract visual storytelling that communicated innovation without explaining it.

Ongoing process of the folding cycle

My responsibilities across the project

  • Strategic project leadership and end-to-end production management

  • Creative concept development, narrative design and visual direction

  • Stakeholder engagement, client communications and feedback integration

  • Audio strategy, sound design direction and SFX oversight

THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE

Delivering a technically ambitious real-time production while maintaining client confidence throughout the process.

The Unreal Engine pipeline was unfamiliar territory for the client, which meant balancing innovation with clarity at every stage of production. Success relied on close collaboration across technical artists, motion designers and production teams, ensuring workflows stayed aligned and every review felt intentional, focused and reassuring for the client. The challenge was not only delivering a visually ambitious project, but translating a complex real-time pipeline into a process the client could trust.

USER USAGE STORY

I led a cross-functional team of user advocacy and social media specialists to deliver a strategic user storytelling programme from concept through distribution. Using a data-driven approach, I designed an onboarding and qualification pipeline to identify high-value customer stories, then directed outreach, stakeholder engagement and content development.

From securing participants and shaping narrative angles to coordinating production partners, creative agencies and internal stakeholders, I oversaw the entire content lifecycle. I guided editorial direction, managed post-production and ensured each story aligned with broader brand and business objectives. To maximise impact, I developed tailored messaging frameworks and go-to-market plans for every episode, driving engagement across both internal and external channels while strengthening customer advocacy and platform adoption.

Onboarding Funnel

THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE

Identifying the right user advocates through fragmented and complex usage data was the primary challenge at the outset.

While users were generally receptive and eager to contribute once engaged, the initial targeting required careful analysis and refinement to ensure relevance and value.

The production phase also demanded careful stakeholder alignment, balancing the expectations of internal teams, external partners and the users themselves. By implementing a structured, stage-gated methodology with clear sign-offs at each milestone, we maintained alignment, reduced friction and ensured efficient progression through to final delivery.

As Senior Manager of the Usage Scientist Team for ENOVIA, I developed and led a strategic content initiative designed to increase brand awareness and drive user adoption of the platform. I introduced the “User Usage Story” framework as a scalable storytelling approach, positioning real-world user experiences at the centre of our communications strategy. By championing this format across the organisation, we created a consistent and engaging way to demonstrate the value of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, helping users better understand its capabilities while strengthening internal alignment around customer-centric content.

My responsibilities across the project

  • Developed a user-led content strategy showcasing authentic 3DEXPERIENCE Platform experiences and insights.

  • Led a team of user advocacy and social media managers to deliver impactful customer stories.

  • Built a data-driven pipeline to identify and engage high-value user advocates.

  • Oversaw end-to-end content production, from outreach and storytelling to stakeholder management and final delivery.

  • Created messaging and distribution strategies to maximise engagement across internal and external channels.

TAMU by Patrick Jouin & the DesignStudio

From the outset, I was embedded in the full R&D process, documenting each stage of development and building a structured asset library to support the project’s storytelling and downstream content needs.

I contributed to early-stage design exploration, using XGenerative Design to inform material distribution and structural efficiency. I also led the creation of a 3D cinematic focused on the chair’s folding mechanism, translating technical development into a clear visual narrative. Alongside this, I managed social media content and internal communications via the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to ensure consistent storytelling across channels.

My responsibilities across the project

  • Documented R&D and built an asset library.

  • Defined storytelling strategy content.

  • Contributed to generative design exploration via 3DEXPERIENCE.

  • Directed and produced a 3D cinematic.

  • Managed social media and internal communications.

  • Supported booth design and art direction for Milan.

THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE

TAMU sat at the intersection of experimental fabrication, generative design and live public presentation, with no margin for error at Milan Design Week. Capturing a fast-moving R&D process in real time while simultaneously developing content, cinematic output and exhibition assets required all workstreams to run in parallel without disruption. The challenge was ensuring the booth matched the ambition of the object it showcased, both in execution and presence.

AURORA takes the form of a series of wave-like modules, manufactured locally at Mamou-Mani's Fab.Pub in London using bio-sourced PLA 3D printing, and suspended from the atrium of the Design Museum on steel tubes. The third instalment of Dassault Systemes' Design in the Age of Experience initiative, it formed part of the museum's Waste Age.

AURORA by Mamou-Mani

As Head of Content and Designer, I was embedded in the project from the outset, managing communication between the CATIA department and the design studio while documenting the project’s development for content and storytelling purposes.

I contributed to pre-release publications and supported the creation of 3D visualisations used across key project materials.

At the exhibition, I directed agency teams responsible for event capture and oversaw the production of social content designed to amplify awareness and extend the installation’s reach beyond the museum space.

THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE

Acting as a bridge between a computational design studio and a software engineering team on a fast-moving, publicly timed installation with a strict sustainability mandate.

Maintained alignment across disciplines in real time, ensuring both sides remained in productive dialogue as the installation evolved. The role required continuous communication design alongside content production to keep process, output and intent tightly connected under high constraints.

  • Led content strategy and project documentation.

  • Contributed to pre-release publications and 3D visualisations.

  • Directed agencies on event capture and social content.

  • Led film and motion design for exhibition and digital channels.
